Be prepared; this post will make you want a baby! Let’s have a look at Amaia Kids’ collection of irresistible rompers, bloomers and sets for babies!
Congratulations to HRH the Duke and Duchess of Sussex!
After weeks of Royal celebrations with the Queen’s birthday, the wedding anniversary or the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the first and fourth birthday of Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte, the whole country is happy to celebrate again with the birth of this little Prince!
This year I’m not the one having a baby (and I already miss it, it’s time for a fourth one I would say, alas my husband is not so keen yet!), nevertheless many of my friends and relatives are expanding their families, so I’m thrilled to buy tiny clothes!
As you may remember last year we talked about the Perfect Newborn Closet.
Newborn’s clothes require the greatest care and attention to details: a specifically designed fit, carefully selected materials to be gentle on the skin and accessories which make life easier and more elegant! At Amaia Kids you are sure to find the perfect newborn’s clothes with Amaia’s passion and experience for dressing babies.
The Ortensia and Freesia sets in blue, pink or ivory are a must-have in any newborn’s wardrobe: they are knitted in an incredibly soft 100% cotton. The trousers have a ribbed elasticated waistband to avoid being too tight on baby’s tiny tummy. The jumper’s delicate mother-of-pearl buttons are at the back so it’s easy to put on and off as we know how much babies hate to put clothes through their head. Lastly, the lovely details around the edges and the timeless look make this ravishing set the perfect outfit when friends or family are visiting to meet the new little bundle of joy!
For warmer days, the knitted all in one in oat, blue or pink is delightful! It will cover perfectly baby’s tummy and be wide enough for its comfort while the snaps button between the legs ensure easy nappy change. And when you change around ten nappies a day, trust me, these little details do matter! Just add a Chelsea body suit which goes with any outfit or a delicate blouse and your baby will look utterly chic!
Accessories are very important for newborns, they are a guarantee of comfort and well-being. Bonnets are very trendy at the moment, there is no decent Instagram baby who has not been pictured wearing one! They look angelic on any baby, but they also protect its delicate head from windy, sunny or cooler Spring days! Booties are another cute accessory which will keep your baby warm as newborns tend to have cold feet and hands. Lastly, the best investment is a good quality blanket. Amaia’s ones are exquisitely soft and refined and come in delicate hues of pastel blue, baby pink and elegant ivory. I was lucky to get one as a present for each of my babies and I have used them every day! My blue blanket is always in my pram and I use it to cover Baby’s legs, as a playmat, a changing mat, a shade… it’s my life saver accessory! Poppy still enjoys snuggling in hers to read a book in the evening.
Rompers and Bloomers Galore
For Babies who have outgrown their newborn clothes, there is nothing better than a romper or a bloomer!
All my babies have lived in bloomers and rompers until they were 3 years old; I simply can’t resist the sight of a baby’s plump thighs!
Whether it’s for an occasion such as a family lunch, Baby’s first birthday, a party or for everyday, rompers offer the best combination of style and comfort for babies.
I could not be happier as this year Amaia Kids has surpassed itself with an incredible rompers’ collection!
The new Babydoll Romper is the most adorable romper you could wish for: it has a peter pan collar with scalloped details, short round sleeves, four large mother-of-pearls buttons at the front and it comes in a crisp pique cotton in pastel blue or baby pink. Of course, I got one for Baby and I also chose the nautical styled one, the Henry romper.
For baby boys, Amaia’s classic vintage styled, the Croque Monsieur, is also back in three different fabrics: blue or red seersucker or a light blue and white airy fabric. The Croque Monsieur is so versatile: it fits any baby, goes with everything and suits any occasion!
For a delicious plump thighs feast, Amaia’s famous bloomers are back in a wide range of colours, fabrics and styles. Whether you are looking for Liberty, floral prints, stripes, checks, plain colours, frilly elasticated thighs for baby girls, cute pockets for baby boys, you are sure to find your dream! The only problem is that you may struggle not to buy all of them!
Cuteness Overload with Amaia Kids’ Baby Sets
Coordinated tops and bloomers have been one of Amaia’s signature since the beginning of the brand, no wonder why! Put in on any baby and you will immediately melt with cuteness! My favourite is the divine Angelina set with its heavenly pink lemonade with white dots fabric, its embroidered collar and frilly bloomer! I so wish I had a baby girl who could wear it! Floral prints lovers will treasure the soft Diane set or the joyful Elysian Liberty Camilla set.
As you can imagine, I had to console myself from the Angelina set, so for Baby I chose the adorable Martin set with its coordinated shirt and bloomer in a stripy blue blend of cotton and linen with red details for a sharper look.
Whether you choose a newborn delicate set, an exquisite bloomer or an adorable romper, you will treasure these refined and irresistible little outfits perfectly cut for your baby!
